Marie-Eve Cigna

Marie-Eve Cigna is a Canadian-Australian actor of Italian heritage, fluent in both English and French. A graduate of WAAPA’s Bachelor of Performing Arts (2024), she has worked across stage and screen, with credits including “Big Love” and “Things I Know to be True” (winner of Best Play at the Finley Awards). Her screen work includes short films selected for Revelation Film Festival and WA Made Film Festival.

Alongside her acting work, Marie-Eve develops projects across film and theatre. Notably, she wrote and starred in the short film “Cashing In” and directed the play “Dirty Talk” at the Blue Room Theatre. She was also shortlisted for Australians in Film’s Untapped initiative for the feature film “Simple Matters”, which she is co-writing.
